Reward & Benefits
We advise our clients on total reward so we take it pretty seriously ourselves.
We hire upper quartile graduates so we offer upper quartile packages. And you can rest assured that you’ll be more than adequately compensated should you join us.
Our graduate and intern salaries are set a couple of months before you join us, so they’re always up to date when you start and among the best in the industry but as a guide, the September 2007 starting salaries were:
- Technology/Benefits Administration Solutions: £19,000
- Human Capital Group & Benefits Group (Non-Actuarial/DC Consulting): £25,000
- Benefits Group (Actuarial Consulting), Insurance & Financial Services, Investment: Consulting £25,750 for regional offices, £28,000 for London, Reigate & Welwyn Garden City (to reflect the higher cost of living).
Individual salaries are reviewed annually and upon promotion. In addition, salary increments are made at each successful stage of the actuarial and CFA examinations and you will be rewarded as soon as you start for any exemptions you are eligible for. Full information will be available at Assessment Centre.
An important element of our promise to our people is our commitment to reward individuals for their contribution. Performance bonus arrangements form a key part of the total compensation we offer. These are designed to acknowledge the value created for clients and for the business, to promote both teamwork and individual performance, and to enable all employees to share more widely in the region’s financial success. Your overall contribution to the business will be the main factor in determining your performance bonus. We will discuss our plans relating to the area of the business in which you are working, agree your objectives and discuss how you can contribute to the firm’s success.
Your package will include a flexible pension scheme, which caters for the different stages of your career, private medical insurance and an initial 22 working days’ holiday per annum, increasing with tenure.
