"In Benefits Administration Solutions, we're responsible for administering a large number of occupational pension schemes and developing efficient processes to provide better services to our clients. Since joining two years ago, I have completed placements in Defined Contribution (DC) and Quality and Process Improvement (QPI) and Defined Benefits (DB) and I am currently working in HR Solutions. The exposure to different areas within the practice has taught me to think and apply myself in different ways as each discipline brings with it its own demands.

"My placements in DC and DB have brought me into direct contact with members and pension scheme managers; whereas in QPI, the emphasis was on project management and implementing new ways of working.  Now I am working in HR Solutions I focus more on the client organisation and their Benefits requirements. I have also studied for and passed my Pensions Management Institute (APMI) exams. The work and study mix has worked perfectly for me, as it allows me to put what I've learnt into practice and the exams complement my various placements. The firm couldn't be more supportive, allowing me time off to study, paying tuition and exam fees, and also providing me with a mentor while on the Management Training Scheme."
